Annell has received many state, regional and national awards. Named "Photographer of the Year" by PPNC in 1995 and again in 1999, she has received many first place awards in the categories of pictorial, groups, illustrative and women. She has exhibited prints in the general collection of the Professional Photographers of America each year since 1992, some of which were accepted into the Loan Collection. Annell has been honored with a Kodak Epcot award in 1994, a Fuji Masterpiece award in 1995 and a Kodak Gallery award in 1999. She was awarded the Master of Photography Degree by PPA in 1995 for superior photographic competence and received her Photographic Craftsman Degree at the PPA in the year 2000. Her work has been published with some of the finest photographic artists in the world by PPA. She has taught other professionals her expertise in the areas of impressionistic beach portraiture and window light portraiture. She has studied with the most renowned photographers in the United States and continues these studies in her dedication to creating innovative portraits for her clients.
